GSL Education are currently looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils on an individual basis in schools across Sheffield S2 and S3
.
This 1:1 Teaching Assistant role is ideal for someone who is patient, supportive, and committed to helping students overcome barriers to learning in a one-to-one setting.
The 1:1 TA Role Will Include:
- Providing tailored 1:1 support to pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs
- Supporting students to stay focused, engaged, and motivated
- Assisting with class activities under the direction of the teacher
- Helping to build confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
- Offering consistent emotional and academic support
- Has experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
- Is calm, reliable, and nurturing
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
