Role OverviewWe are seeking a Lecturer in Criminology / Counselling to support existing and new programmes. The successful candidate will plan and deliver lectures, supervise students’ dissertations and contribute to student engagement and success.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lectures across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Supervise students’ dissertations and research projects.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
- Engage with students to promote learning and success.
- Experience teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate or equivalent level.
- Relevant work experience in criminology or counselling.
- Experience supervising dissertations.
- Relevant Masters degree and PG Certificate in Higher Education or a Level 7 teaching qualification.
- Fellow member (FHEA) of Advance HE.
Desirable: PhD in a relevant field, relevant academic research experience.
