We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Architect who is ready to take a lead role in design and project management. The successful candidate will drive design development, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, oversee technical detailing, and manage client relationships. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence projects from concept through construction and to grow further into a senior leadership position within a supportive and forward-thinking company.

You will have the chance to work on projects including small to large-scale extensions, refurbishments, and conversions, primarily within the Commercial and Healthcare sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across RIBA Stages 2-7, with a proven track record in leading architectural design, technical delivery, and client liaison. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in architectural design and construction documentation.

• Lead design development from concept through detailed design and construction documentation in line with RIBA stages
• Manage project teams and coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs to ensure cohesive delivery
• Oversee project planning, risk management, procurement advice, programme monitoring, and contract administration
• Prepare high-quality architectural drawings, 3D models, visualisations, and material boards
• Undertake feasibility studies, planning submissions, design reviews, and technical coordination with engineers
• Apply sustainable design principles aligned with the company's commitment to environmental performance
• Present design proposals and technical information to clients, local authorities, and external consultants
• Foster commercial awareness and client relationships to support business growth
• Mentor and support junior team members, helping develop their skills and professional experience

• Live within a commutable distance of Sheffield
• Extensive experience across RIBA Stages 2-7
• Proven experience in leading teams and managing architectural projects
• Commercial or Healthcare project experience (advantageous)
• Good knowledge of either Revit or AutoCAD
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong collaborative skills with clients, consultants, and colleagues
• Ability to take initiative and work independently while leading teams
• Excellent knowledge of UK building regulations
