The Role

The role is for a Project Landscape Architect based in our Sheffield studio. You will lead landscape commissions, collaborating closely with our in-house architectural team, clients, and external design teams, including sub-consultants.

Projects span a wide range of sectors – Strategic, Master planning, Mixed Use, Residential, Educational, and Commercial – across the UK.

Responsibilities
  • Lead on, develop and deliver Landscape projects from concept through to completion (for all work stages on both D&B and traditional contracts)
  • Prepare concept design sketches and develop design/detail utilising CAD Software/Archi

    CAD in BIM.
  • Responsibility for the day-to-day management and administration of Landscape projects.
  • Communicate and engage with the multidisciplinary Bond Bryan team, clients and external consultants.
  • Prepare all drawn information, specifications and schedules associated with typical Landscape Architecture services.
  • Develop deliverables schedules and design programmes.
  • Co-ordinate the production of visualisations and animations using CAD/3D model with the team.
  • Production of reports and any other documents necessary for projects.
  • Attend and report at Design Team meetings and co-ordinate meetings and workshops.
  • Attend client/stakeholder meetings to present designs and reports.
  • Ensure the design is kept within the client’s set budget.
  • Assist with the compilation of bids and tenders.
  • Attend interviews as necessary.
Qualifications & Skills

The role will suit an experienced Landscape Architect with minimum of two years’ post-Chartership (or similar) experience who is looking to develop their career within a growing business.

Demonstrable skills and autonomy in leading and delivering complex schemes of varying scale, with competent technical design experience and proficiency with CAD, the candidate must also have a good level of graphical talent and sound knowledge of the UK standards and planning system.

An understanding of the sectors in which we operate will be helpful but is not essential.
