Marks Consulting Partners are supporting a well-established commercial property consultancy in their search for a Building Surveyor or Senior Building Surveyor to join their thriving Sheffield office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary environment, delivering high-quality building consultancy advice across a diverse client base—from major corporates to private investors, while developing your career towards chartered status or beyond.

• Deliver professional building surveying services including pre-acquisition advice, dilapidations, reinstatement cost assessments, and project management.
• Work on a range of exciting projects including refurbishments, industrial developments, roof and cladding replacements, and fund monitoring.
• Support senior team members on large-scale projects while taking ownership of smaller instructions.
• Provide expert advice to clients and build lasting relationships across a wide range of sectors.
• Receive mentoring and guidance from experienced leaders to support APC progression and continued professional growth.

• Degree-qualified Building Surveyor, ideally MRICS or working towards chartered status.
• Strong technical knowledge across core building surveying disciplines.
• Excellent communication skills with a client-first mindset.
• Self-motivated and eager to develop your expertise within a collaborative team.

• Salary £40,000 - £65,000, dependent on role level and experience.
• Hybrid working with flexible office attendance in Sheffield.
• APC support and clear routes to chartership and career advancement.
• Varied portfolio across commercial and mixed-use properties.
