Residential Support Worker - SEND (Special Educational Needs)
The role will include supporting 16‑25‑year‑olds who have Autism, Learning Difficulties, and Mental Health difficulties. Students live in houses in and around Sheffield, with their peers and staff. The goal is to develop their independent living skills and participate fully in the running of the household, including meal planning, shopping, social activities, and household tasks. Staff will work closely with students to ensure they get the support they need to learn how to live more independently and make safe decisions.
Responsibilities- Be a patient and caring approach when providing all aspects of care
- Be strong‑willed and comfortable with challenging behaviour
- Have experience in one‑to‑one support to encourage independence and raise self‑esteem
- Respect privacy and dignity at all times
- Be flexible and adaptable
- Child & Adult DBS on the up‑date service

Passport, Driving Licence, Sharecode or Birth Certificate - Shifts available Monday – Sunday, AM (08:00‑16:00), PM (15:30‑22:00) as well as sleep‑ins and waking nights (21:30‑08:30) so there's usually something to suit everyone
- Experience with vulnerable young people is essential to be considered for this role
