We’re a small, established business based in Kelham Island, Sheffield, looking for a reliable and proactive person to help keep our office running smoothly.

You’ll be part of a close-knit team where everyone works together and supports each other day to day. In our office, each person’s contribution matters, so this role suits someone dependable, professional, and comfortable taking responsibility for their work.

BDP is a well-established marketing business with over 16 years’ success providing high-quality B2B data solutions to clients across the UK. We’re now looking for someone organised and switched-on to join the team and play an important role in our daily operations and ongoing growth.

This is a practical, hands‑on office role supporting a busy team environment, ideal for someone who enjoys structure, teamwork and getting things done.

What you’ll be doing
  • Coordinating day-to-day office activity: calls, deliveries, supplies, and records
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers to keep work progressing smoothly
  • Preparing clear written content such as blogs, updates and client communications
  • Assisting with marketing support tasks and keeping website information accurate
  • Supporting directors and colleagues with admin and organisation
  • Keeping the office organised, tidy and running smoothly day to day
You’ll fit in well if you’re
  • Confident, organised and good with people
  • Practical, reliable and able to see tasks through
  • Comfortable using Word, Excel and online systems
  • Experienced in an office, customer service or administration role (2+ years ideal)
  • Settled locally and looking for long‑term, steady work
  • Happy working onsite as part of a small team
  • Positive and dependable, everyone here is relied on to show up and pull together
  • Comfortable following direction and acting on feedback
  • Professional, presentable and confident answering calls or greeting visitors
  • A clear communicator with good written and spoken English

The details

Hours:

30 hours per week preferred. We will consider applicants seeking fewer hours who are looking for a stable, long‑term position.

Salary:£24,000-£30,000 per year (pro rata depending on experience and hours)
