The University’s Doctoral School provides academic and administrative oversight and management of the postgraduate research student (PGR) environment, as well as focussed support for PGRs and academic staff.
As Senior Administrator in the Doctoral School team you will provide support and guidance to PGRs and academic staff on all aspects of student administration. You will work collaboratively to deliver an inclusive and responsive service, ensuring excellent customer service.
In this varied and busy role you will:
- Manage and coordinate student administrative processes, including applications, admissions, scholarships and policy guidance.
- Support the Doctoral Operations and Regulations functions, providing expertise on PGR administrative policies and procedures.
- Act as a point of contact for one academic area, while contributing to cross‑university support as needed.
You will have strong IT, numerical and organisational skills, an excellent customer‑service orientation and a high level of attention to detail. Initiative, self‑management and the ability to prioritise effectively are key to success in this role.
