Accountancy Practice Manager

Overview

We are working with an extremely reputable firm of accountants who are very keen to appoint a strong Accountancy Manager. This person will look after a team of people, both managing them and managing the work-load as well. Day to day duties will required this person to look after a portfolio of key clients, work with the accounts team on various day to day duties ensuring all area's of the work is met.

Managing the team, performing 1-2-1 duties, prioritising work, and ensure daily, weekly and monthly targets are met.

• Lead and manage a growing team, including 1-2-1 duties and performance management.
• Oversee a portfolio of key client accounts; coordinate with the accounts team to ensure all work is met and targets are achieved (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Forecast workflow and prioritise workload; liaise with clients and seek new clients as required.
• Report to the Board and provide updates as required.
• Be IT literate and proficient with various accountancy software.
• Be able to motivate and develop team members.

• Strong accounting experience with leadership capabilities; IT literate with proficiency in multiple accountancy software.
• Ability to forecast workflow, liaise with clients, and support business development as needed.
