Semi Senior Accountant

Position

Sharp Consultancy is partnering with a highly respected regional accountancy firm based in Sheffield to recruit an ambitious and talented Semi Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

Salary between £28,000 - £32,000

• Full Study Support for AAT / ACA / ACCA Qualifications
• Flexible start and finish times
• 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays

• Process client invoices and perform bank reconciliations
• Support client book‑keeping services
• Maintain accurate financial records for a diverse client portfolio
• Assist with the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
• Assist with the preparation and submission of CIS returns
• Assist with the preparation of year‑end accounts and financial statements
• Provide support to clients directly over the phone and via email as required

• AAT student with a desire to progress to ACA / ACCA
• Experience working within an accountancy practice (essential)
• Experience using Xero / Quick Books (highly desirable)
