Overview
Maintains established standards of care, policies, objective, and goals in administering professional nursing care to all patients needing Emergency Services.
Education/Licensure/Certification s- Current Alabama RN license or a current RN multi-state license
- Prior critical care or emergency room experience preferred.
- Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
- Must have knowledge of all equipment and materials required for procedures described in the Emergency Care Center Policy/Procedure Manual and Nursing Service Procedure Manual.
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS and department specific competencies must be maintained.
- TNCC is preferred.
- BLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
- ACLS, and PALS must be obtained within the first year of employment.
