Base Rate- $20.85

8 Hours/Day, 2pm-10pm (Evening)

Reports to:

Operations Director, Building Principal or designee.

• Possess a valid Ohio driver's license and any other vehicle operator's licenses as may be appropriate.
• Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Prior experience as a custodian preferred and /or exhibit equivalent knowledge to competently perform all assigned job requirements.
• Possess a general knowledge of heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Possess a general knowledge of tools, materials, and equipment used in repair work.
• Ability to pass the custodian test with a minimum score of 70%
• Such other qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate and necessary under law. Such additional qualifications shall not be arbitrary or capricious.

• Repair, inspect, clean, and maintain all facilities, equipment, and grounds of the facility assigned.
• Use, operate, and maintain all cleaning equipment.
• Open, close, and secure building as assigned.
• Assist maintenance personnel as needed.
• Light and heavy lifting required.
• Must be able to work on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
• Report any hazardous conditions to head custodian or immediate supervisor upon discovery.
• Perform snow removal.
• Report any vandalism or damage to school property to supervisor and repair.
• Organize and maintain building equipment, supplies, and inventory.
• Attend any necessary trainings which may include nights or weekends
• Perform such other duties as assigned by Director of Operations, Building Principal, or designee.

Maintain the appearance, cleanliness, safety and security of school facilities to which assigned.
