Role Responsibilities- Support the installation and removal of above ground and underground tanks and product piping systems across Atlantic Canada.
- Perform site improvements at commercial and retail fueling facilities, including concrete repairs, tank pad upgrades such as replacing manholes, grade rings, and spill containers, fueling apron repairs and installations, and pump island maintenance.
- Install, service, and repair petroleum handling equipment.
- Operate construction tools and equipment safely and effectively, including quick‑cut saws, jackhammers with air compressors, and towing trailers, while adhering to road safety regulations.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Construction Leads to plan and execute site repairs and upgrades efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with regulatory standards and certification requirements for petroleum and allied petroleum storage tanks, as mandated by authorities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and demonstrate a proactive attitude toward learning and skill development.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction-related projects.
- Licensed tank installer certification is considered an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel, work on‑call, and perform overtime as needed.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented, and deadline‑driven environment.
- Capable of following direction, working independently, and maintaining a strong focus on safety.
- Proficient in the use of construction tools and equipment.
- Physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks, including extended shifts and additional hours.
- Able to safely lift and carry a maximum of 60 lbs.
