Shipping Order Processing

Overview

Shipping Order Processing role at Old Wisconsin Sausage.

• Enter data into AX system.
• Unload meat trucks at multiple locations.
• Verify incoming materials.
• Assist the shipping department with the movement of finished package goods to the customer/consumer.
• Pick orders, load/unload trucks, rotate product and participate in inventory counting.
• Cross-train in all areas of Shipping & Receiving; work in Receiving as needed.
• Basic computer knowledge in MS Office products as well as AS/400.
• Work in Warehouse Management System, including RF guns to track levels of inventory.
• Overtime may be frequent during Peak Production Periods.

• Required education generally equivalent to a High School Diploma.
• 1-3 years of warehouse or Manufacturing experience.
• Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, divide and perform metric conversions.
• Good oral and written communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications and routings and other warehouse paperwork.
• Must be a certified forklift driver; ability to use other industrial equipment as needed.
• Requires a valid Driver's License with a good driving record; CDL classifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; AS/400 and AX software.

• Stand/walk for 8-9 hours per day.
• Lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis; up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to bend, twist, stoop and squat; reach above shoulders as needed for day-to-day responsibilities.
