We’re looking for driven, detail‑oriented individuals to join our Fire Team as a Fire Alarm Technician I. This is more than just a job – it’s your chance to build a career in one of the most essential safety industries.
No prior electrical or fire alarm experience? No problem. This entry‑level role is designed to accelerate your training and set you on the path to becoming a certified Fire Alarm Technician. With mentorship, hands‑on training, and real‑world experience, you’ll gain the skills and certifications needed to master a trade that saves lives and protects communities. If you bring a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the drive to learn, we’ll provide the tools, training, and support to help you succeed.
In as little as 612 months, you’ll be prepared to take on certification and grow into a skilled professional in this in‑demand field.
- Assist higher‑level technicians in troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and inspecting a variety of fire alarm systems.
- Support senior technicians in working directly with customers to help resolve system issues and provide excellent service.
- Report to and assist the assigned senior technician daily, supporting all tasks and learning the full scope of job responsibilities on‑site.
- Learn proper procedures for completing the NFPA‑required documentation and inspection forms.
- Complete NICET® 1 Fire Alarm Certification.
- Complete required manufacturer training classes.

- 6 months+ experience with fire alarm systems or other electrical systems.
- Familiarity with devices, panels, wiring, and standards.
- Familiarity with blueprints and schematics.
- Possess NICET 1 Fire Alarm Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Proficient with power and hand tools.
- Basic understanding of electrical principles.
- Resides in the greater Sheboygan, WI area.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
- Strong work ethic.
- Detail oriented.
- Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
Skillful communication and problem‑solving abilities are essential to excel in this role and provide top‑notch customer service.

Monday through Friday – 40 hours typical. On‑call as needed.
