As a Meat Clerk, you’ll be at the center of it all—answering questions, recommending cuts, and ensuring our meat cases are full, fresh, and ready for the next guest. • Deliver helpful service: provide exceptional guest service at the meat counter and on the sales floor, including fulfilling special orders and answering product questions.
• Maintain fresh, well‑stocked displays by inspecting, rotating, and replenishing meat products and supplies.
• Honor commitments: regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
• Collaborate with the team and perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong communication skills: ability to effectively engage with guests, leaders, and retail sales associates. Utilize strong written and verbal skills to work with a crew in a fast‑paced environment.
• Food safety: a willingness to learn food safety standards, proper equipment usage (like slicers), and inventory practices.
• Ability to multitask and stay customer‑service focused in a busy retail grocery environment.
• Safety mindset: an understanding of safety and food safety practices and a commitment to following them. This role requires proper training and knowledge of equipment and procedures, including slicers, proper lifting techniques, trash compactor, baler, etc.

• Stand in one place for a long period of time, bend, stoop, and kneel regularly.
• Full range of upper body motion.
• Lifting up to 80 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures such as freezers, coolers, kitchens, and sales floor.
• Repetitive motion of hands and wrists.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

This is a part‑time or full‑time position with varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

• Weekly pay & premium pay: hourly associates are paid weekly, providing more frequent access to their funds. Part‑time store associates receive a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays. Hourly full‑time store associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.
• Two‑week advanced scheduling: better planning and balance. We provide our associates with their schedules two weeks in advance, offering greater predictability & flexibility.
• Vision & dental insurance: part‑time and full‑time associates are eligible for vision insurance and two dental coverage options that are designed to fit your needs.
