• This is a lower acuity ICU
• General ICU, Stroke (TNK), COVID, Medical, Surgical, Behavioral Health, Overdoses, post cardiac arrest, ventilators

• 1:2-3 (Days & Nights) acuity based

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

• Read/interpret strips, Vents, Chest Tubes, Traches, Line management, proning experience
• Bedside and Nursing Station tele monitoring, no tele tech in the ICU

• CNA (Ratio 1:7)
• No HUC in the ICU
• Charge nurse:
  Will take patient assignment
• Phlebotomy:
  Available for peripheral blood draws
• IV/VAT Team:
  During dayshift M, W, F
• Resource Nurse:
  No
• RT: 24/7
• Hospitalist: 24/7
• ICU Educator
• OT, PT, ST weekdays and variability on weekends
• Intensivist: , eICU

• EPIC
• Alaris
• Pyxis

Must be comfortable floating to the Cardiac unit

One shift to learn flow
