The Maintenance Technician III performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment and facility systems. The role supports equipment installations, follows preventive maintenance schedules, and documents work orders. The position also helps maintain parts inventory and contributes to overall facility safety and upkeep.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production machinery, support equipment, and facility systems.
- Complete work orders and document maintenance activities in the maintenance system.
- Assist with equipment moves, installations, and upgrades to support production needs.
- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and help develop/update related work instructions.
- Work with contractors and skilled trades on assigned projects.
- Conduct basic safety checks, participate in safety training, and follow all safety procedures.
- Maintain parts inventory by tracking usage and reporting needs.
- Help keep the maintenance shop organized, clean, and functional.
- Participate in facility upkeep, general repairs, and grounds‑related tasks as needed.
- Assist on special projects such as installing air systems, upgrading machinery, or supporting equipment rebuilds.
- Provide off shift and weekend support for production needs and project work.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5-10 years of experience in the electrical/mechanical field.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Strong ability in PLC & AC/DC drive troubleshooting.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn new equipment and systems.
- Knowledge and experience with fabrication, welding, basic machining, and milling machine operation.
- Strong knowledge of CNC saws and conveyor systems, high pressure chemical pumps and mixing systems.
- Familiar with spray guns & spray adhesives.
- Familiar with NFPA 70e & LO/TO procedures.
- Familiar with robotic and automated systems.
