What You’ll DoAs a Setup Person, you’ll ensure our machines are set up correctly, running smoothly, and producing high-quality product. Your expertise will help minimize downtime and keep production flowing.
What you will do- Respond to machine trouble lights and diagnose mechanical issues quickly and accurately
- Perform assembly and coiler machine setups according to specifications
- Monitor coil size, measurements, and overall product quality
- Complete advanced diagnostics, tuning, and maintenance on assemblers and coilers
- Perform mechanical repairs (e.g., finger shaft replacement, chuck repairs, cam re‑timing)
- Ensure machines are stocked with backup coils, helical wire, and coreless wire reels
- Tag and track partially used wire rolls
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support production needs, including occasional overtime for urgent repairs
- 1–2 years of experience repairing and maintaining industrial or manufacturing machinery
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of equipment performance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work 12‑hour shifts
- Forklift certification (or ability to maintain certification)
