Why You Will Love This JobRehlko is looking for a dynamic and outgoing individual as a Materials Supervisor on 2nd Shift. Under the direction of the Materials Manager, this position is responsible for all activities related to material receipt, storage, control and internal distribution at the Rehlko Power Systems facility located in Mosel, WI. Working with scheduling & production, this position will ensure the production lines are in constant supply of material with minimal loss in productivity or inventory.
SpecificResponsibilities
- Conduct monthly safety training for all areas of responsibility and ensure associates are working safely including wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Report, investigate and follow through on all safety issues in assigned area.
- Schedule associates, set expectations and monitor progress to ensure on‑time delivery of material to point of use on time with quality.
- Own the proper storage of material. Work to maintain optimal inventory accuracy to meet the requirements shared by the Materials Manager - Mosel.
- Ensure associates follow appropriate non‑conformance and LOTO procedures.
- Hold associates accountable to safety / quality / performance / attendance standards.
- Coordinate the training and development of associates to meet job expectations.
- Ensure associates have all equipment necessary to perform the job. Ensure the condition of equipment is maintained in accordance with Materials Manager - Mosel directives.
- Resolve any union grievances with the assistance of Materials Manager - Mosel.
- Verify and maintain all attendance, payroll and associate’s records for the assigned area.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering with a concentration in Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations Management preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing‑related work experience required with Supply Chain or Logistics related work experience preferred.
- Previous leadership experience (manufacturing or military environment) required with experience with leading unionized associates preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication and leadership skills are required.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to understand and learn quickly are required.
- Knowledge of SAP and Workbrain production control systems is strongly preferred.
- Ability to Stand, Walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS occasionally.
- Use of Personal protective Equipment as required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or shifts as needed.
- Union experience – working or leading.
