Responsibilities
- Provide functional support for core enterprise systems, including but not limited to the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and its related ISV’s and integrations, and other critical applications such as Pro Ship (multi-carrier shipping software), Bottomline (forms/document management), and Nice Label (label design/printing software)
- Investigate, analyze, and document business processes, information flows, and data structures to identify issues, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Assist in defining acceptance criteria and test plans for new functionality, upgrades, and system changes; coordinate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders
- Support scheduled deployments, upgrades, and patches for enterprise applications
- Monitor system performance and recurring issues, analyze trends, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future problems.
- Log, prioritize, and resolve application support requests, bugs, and change requests from users
- Coordinate with software vendors and partners to troubleshoot issues, track support cases, and assist with enhancement requests
- Participate in user meetings, project discussions, and issue reviews; clearly communicate findings, risks, and recommendations in both written and verbal form.
- Follow established IT standards, change management processes, and documentation practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent years of job-related experience in Information Technology
- 3–5 years of experience in an Application Support Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Significant experience with enterprise ERP/MRP systems is required – experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is strongly preferred
- General understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain processes, and finance concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate impact of system changes
