Description
Production Support:
Provide hands‑on engineering support for press brakes and laser cutting equipment. Troubleshoot machine, tooling, setup, and quality issues. Maintain and improve work instructions, setup sheets, and SOPs. Assist operators and supervisors with technical guidance and process improvements. Ensure processes meet safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Process Engineering:
Create and maintain routings, BOMs, and process documentation. Optimize laser cutting parameters and material utilization. Improve press brake forming processes, tooling, and setups. Identify and implement cost, quality, and throughput improvements.
Quoting & Job Support:
Review customer drawings to support accurate quoting. Develop labor, machine time, and material estimates. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance on competitive quotes.
New Product Introduction (NPI):
Support launch of new fabrication jobs. Validate processes through first‑article and trial runs. Ensure documentation, tooling, and programs are ready for production release.
Quality & Compliance:
Investigate nonconformances and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with internal standards (IATF, ISO) and customer requirements. Support root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned.

AdditionalSkills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in a fabrication or metal manufacturing environment.
- Hands‑on experience with press brakes and laser cutting machines required.

Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80,000.00 - $85,000.00/yr.
