Family Medicine in Sheboygan, right Lake Michigan

We are seeking a Full-time BE/BC Family Medicine physician to work at our clinic located in Sheboygan, WI!

Practice

-1.0 FTE = 35 patient contact hours

-2 MDs, 2 APPs

-Hours 7a-5p Mon-Fri

-Can accommodate 4 day work week

-On-call expectations is a full week of call that begins Monday at 7 am & goes through the next Friday l does not occur during normal business hours M-F. 1 week every 7 weeks call rotation (and growing). Call is just phone call. Nurse Triage takes first call.

-The team structure involves working closely with 1-2 MA/LPNs for day-to-day workflow. There is support from an RN that provides triage support.

-There is a focus on collaboration between the physicians & APPs to ensure that there is continuity of care for our patients.

-Patient volume 15/30 and 20/40 or straight 30’s

-Can do virtual visit blocks (4 hour blocks) either at home or in the office

-Primary Care strives for quality of care, prevention, & wellness for our patient population.

There is a lot of collaboration between our clinic & surrounding colleges. There is opportunity to work with medical students at various levels of education.

Great community – ideally located on Lake Michigan, excellent school system, low crime rate, many outdoor activities. Water park, zoo, roller rink, ice rink – great place to raise a family. Many festivals, activities, shops, entertainment. The downtown is being revitalized and there is a lot going on. Within 1 hour of Milwaukee, Green Bay, Door County. Close to larger metropolitan areas.
