** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors and personnel by following site-specific security-related procedures, post orders, and/or emergency response activities for a chemical and petrochemical location.

+ Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and assisting with incident stabilization as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, tank farms, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Control access at gates and/or entry points by verifying identification and authorization, directing visitors to required check-in processes, and documenting entries and exits per site policy.

+ Complete detailed reports of patrol observations, access activity, incidents, and/or maintenance issues, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

* + Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
