Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical components that feed the internal & external structure of the facilities
* Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment services to include 120 volt, 240 volt, 277 volt and 480 volt, single and 3-phase equipment
* Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems, motors, and 480 volt buss duct systems in accordance with the plant preventative maintenance program
* Install and set up new and used equipment
* Work with outside Electrical Contractors when needed
* Ensure all electrical equipment is in good repair to minimize the amount of downtime and ensure the safety of all employees
* Work with different Business Units at the same time
* Assist the Maintenance Mechanics in large projects when requested
* Good communications skills with a key to listening, striving to be viewed as a person who treats all people with respect and fairness
* Requires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisor
* Use equipment manufacturer's operating and parts manuals to diagnose and make repairs, including selection of replacement parts
* Submit proposal for electrical assignments and submit a supplies list
* Assist the Facilities Manager in evaluating and determining permanent solutions to problem electrical areas
* Abide by all company safety and hazardous material programs
* Work with outside contractors to ensure that they are following all EH&S policies
* Responsible to follow all procedures of the Lockout/Tag out program
* Support the Dallas Business Units
* Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirements
* Responsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employees
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Must be knowledgeable of local building and construction codes
* Forklift license
* Experience in the set-up of new and used production equipment
* Experienced in plant expansions and a working knowledge of the electrical construction trade
* Capable of supervising outside contractors
Education and Experience:
* Preferred High school diploma
* Five (5) years experience in the industrial electrical trade with a manufacturing plant
* Must have completed the training or requirement of "A" Class Electrician
* Must possess a valid Oklahoma Contractor Electrician license
Working Conditions /
Physical Requirements:
* Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production areas
* Required to work a 40-hour workweek and be prompt and dependable
* Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
* Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
