SummarySafely operate authorized production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Adjust machine settings to accurately complete tasks according to specifications and in a timely fashion. Perform manual tasks such as package, crate, label, count, and sort products. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Required to understand and follow all company policies and procedures
- Ensure that all guard and safety equipment have been installed and properly checked
- Safely operate machine assigned by the line lead, team leader, supervisor, or manager
- Required to maintain quality standards on all products
- Must be able to communicate clearly with co-workers, line lead, team leader, supervisor, and manager
- Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirements
- Requires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisor
- Required to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures
- Required to understand and follow work procedures as set forth by all ISO documentation
- Read and interpret blueprints whenever required by operation
- Check parts dimensionally with calipers and measuring tools to maintain engineering drawing tolerances
- Responsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employees
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or its equivalent is desired
Physical Requirements
- Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production areas
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. in a safe manner
- Must be able to perform repetitive motion. Examples: walking, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods of time
- Clarity of vision and the ability to focus on a fast and repetitious operation for extended periods of time
- Exposure to heavy equipment or components needed to produce product (safety-toe shoes are required)
- Exposure to machine noise levels (hearing protection is required)
- Exposure to electrical and mechanical moving parts
