Student Nutrition Assistant

Position details:

• Shift Hours: 10:00 a.m.
  
  - 2:00 p.m., 4 hours per day

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing foods from recipes or instructions
• Cleaning and storing equipment properly
• Observing health and sanitation regulations
• Attending Food Safety Basics Class as required
• Receiving, unpacking, storing, and rotating food and supplies
• Serving food to students and staff
• Washing and sanitizing dishes, surfaces, and equipment
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager

Working conditions: Must work harmoniously with others, stand for long periods, pass strength & agility tests (lifting up to 50 pounds), complete Food Safety Class within 2 months of hire, and maintain high sanitation standards. Effective communication skills are required.

Compensation and benefits: Starting at $15.00/hour, with an excellent benefits package.

Minimum requirements:

• Current TB test (less than 12 months old) or recent results
• Pass standardized strength & agility test
• Pre-employment physical
