Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Acts as a back-up to the Director, Human Resources providing support and direction to employees, managers and team members when necessary
  • Measures and tracks HR metrics and provides a detailed analysis explaining the overall impact these metrics have on the operations of the business
  • Actively explores, communicates, and implements process improvement ideas and plans to enhance the effectiveness of the HR function
  • Acts as a liaison between employees and management to communicate and enforce various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and governmental regulations
  • Acts as an integral part of the HR team providing assistance to fellow HR team members and strengthening the team approach toward a common goal and vision.
  • Reconciles benefits invoices ensuring the company is being billed appropriately and payment gets processed timely every month
  • Provides excellent customer service to all employees and managers ensuring employee questions, concerns, and suggestions are addressed accurately and timely.
  • Has an active role in creating, implementing and maintaining the Employee Engagement Program, providing direction and assistance in relation to the Engagement Committee, Engagement Surveys, and Engagement Activities and Events.
  • Responsible for positively influencing employee engagement and morale and recognizing and correcting patterns or trends that may have a negative effect
  • Generate routine and ad hoc reports from various employee relations systems
  • Assist with day-to-day transactional processes to enhance the HR teams overall performance in recruiting, onboarding, timekeeping, benefits and performance management.
  • Maintain discretion and ensure proper handling while dealing with highly sensitive data
  • Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirements
  • Responsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employees
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software; expert level knowledge preferred
  • Ability to approach concepts with a strategic and insightful mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Education And Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Degree preferred in Human Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration or Business Management
  • 7+ years of experience in the HR field or related area
  • HR Certification preferred
Working Conditions /

Physical Requirements
  • Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production areas
  • Primary work in a climate-controlled office environment
  • Eye/Hand coordination for more than 50% of the time
  • Sitting at least 75% of the time
  • Visual strain for more than 50% of the time
  • Listening, sitting, standing, stooping, walking, observing, grasping, pushing, pulling, and keyboarding
  • Operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computer, photocopier and smartphone
  • Regular office hours are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
