You will provide direct academic support to at‑risk students using a variety of intervention models including individualized instruction, small groups, and classroom push‑ins. You will be implementing research‑based academic interventions with a strong emphasis on reading. You will conduct assessments and data analysis to identify student needs and learning gaps and then develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on the assessment results.
You will regularly communicate intervention progress and outcomes to teachers, parents, the School Psychologist, and the Instructional Coach to guarantee that our support strategies continue to strengthen the student’s success.
As the ideal candidate, you have a Bachelor’s degree along with a valid state teaching license. You have or will obtain a reading license (1316) upon hire. You have advanced knowledge in the wide range of high‑impact intervention programs such as Lexia, Rewards, LLI (Leveled Literacy Interventions), Corrective Reading, and American Reading Company empowering you to adapt evidence‑based strategies to support struggling readers effectively.
You will provide targeted academic support to at‑risk students through the Multi‑Level System of Support (MLSS) by providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions. You will serve as a member of the MLSS team, contributing to building‑level data review, planning, and the implementation of school‑wide academic support strategies. You will also be responsible for supporting students in one or more parochial schools in accordance with district policies.
