Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Quality team with IATF 16949 Quality Management System activities for Ohio and Michigan offices.
  • Support document control processes, including reviewing, organizing, and maintaining controlled documents in accordance with IATF and customer-specific requirements.
  • Assist as a point of contact for internal teams regarding QMS documentation and audit‑related questions.
  • Participate in IATF 16949 internal and external audits as an observer or support role.
  • Assist with internal audit preparation, including scheduling support, audit documentation, and audit plan tracking.
  • Help track internal and external audit findings and support corrective action follow‑up activities.
  • Assist in reviewing corrective actions to ensure they align with quality requirements and company procedures.
  • Support training activities, including preparation of document control and quality training materials for new hires.
  • Assist with developing and updating process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
  • Help track and monitor quality‑related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality documentation meets IATF and customer requirements.
  • Support other Quality Assurance projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in quality, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Interest in Quality Management Systems, auditing, and automotive manufacturing standards.
  • Basic understanding of quality concepts or coursework related to quality systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with document control systems or PLEX software is beneficial but not required.
