Description
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a rapidly growing team that thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Responsibilities- Accurately enter supplier invoices in a high-volume setting
- Process, sort, and scan incoming mail
- Understand job and general ledger account structures and correctly assign cost codes to invoices
- Apply established requirements to determine proper invoice processing
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies
- Review supplier statements to ensure accurate and complete records
- Monitor outstanding payments and take appropriate corrective action
- Code credit card transactions and follow up on missing receipts
- Prepare journal entries
- Provide proactive, positive support to project managers and suppliers to ensure an excellent customer experience
- Contribute ideas and assist with continuous improvement initiatives
- Complete ad hoc projects and reporting requests as needed
