Food Service Director

Foremost at Sharon is a skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing high-quality care to our residents. We are seeking a Food Service Director to oversee our dietary department, ensuring nutritious, well-balanced meals are prepared and served in accordance with all regulations and resident needs.

• Oversee daily food service operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Plan and coordinate meal services that meet dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
• Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal food safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory, ordering supplies while managing costs effectively.
• Work closely with dietitians and healthcare staff to accommodate special dietary needs.

Previous experience as a Food Service Director, Dietary Manager, or similar role in a healthcare or senior living setting.

• Knowledge of food safety regulations (Serv Safe certification preferred).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
