Logistics Data Entry
Key Responsibilities
Accurately entering and updating information related to shipping, receiving, and inventory into company databases.
Maintaining comprehensive records of logistics transactions, including invoices, shipping documents, and inventory updates.
Verifying the accuracy of entered data and promptly resolving any discrepancies.
Preparing and generating regular reports on logistics activities, such as delivery status and inventory levels.
Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proper documentation.
Assisting with documentation for customs, freight, and regulatory compliance as needed.
Collaborating with warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams to ensure data consistency and support seamless operations.
Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Previous data entry experience or experience in logistics support.
Essential Skills- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: A strong ability to work quickly and accurately is crucial, as data errors can lead to significant problems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with data entry software and logistics systems, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- The ability to organize and maintain filing systems and manage data effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with other teams.
