Logistics coordinator
Overview
Logistics Coordinator in Sharjah, UAE. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to coordinate and monitor the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to customers. This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent communication, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Responsibilities- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Monitor shipment progress and update stakeholders on any delays or issues
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate documentation of stock
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery dates and resolve any issues
- Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods
- Maintain records of all shipments, including invoices, bills of lading, and other relevant documentation
- Resolve any transportation or logistics-related problems that may arise
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and customs requirements
- Continuously identify areas for improvement in the logistics process
- Proven work experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Malayalam or Arabic is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with logistics software (e.g. SAP) is preferred but not required
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in international shipping and knowledge of customs regulations is preferred but not required
Preference will be given to candidates who are Malayalee or Egyptian nationals, however, this is not a strict requirement.
This is an urgent position, so candidates must be able to start immediately. The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary package without accommodation but with free visa and ticket.
