Newgen BPM Developer

Job Purpose

The role is to provide development services and Level 2/3 support of Newgen LCAP system and other in‑house development. Follow system development life cycle (SDLC) process by planning, creating, testing, and deploying applications. Design, develop and support Newgen solutions. Provide ongoing Level 2/3 support for various applications developed in house.

Java, JavaScript frameworks, BPM (added advantage), SQL (SQL Server and Oracle, Visual Studio .NET 2015 and later).

2‑4 years of relevant industry experience across a wide variety of development projects.

B.E/B. Tech. – CS/IT/MCA, M. Tech or equivalent degree from a reputed institute preferred, with

• Developing and installing software solutions.
• Designing, implementing and delivering high quality software projects in JAVA, SQL/Oracle, J2EE and other JAVA technologies.
• Participate in detailed level design, coding, code walk‑through, peer code reviews and unit testing, system testing, UAT, demos, POCs, installation, maintenance of software modules.
• Software prototype.
• System architecture, software design document.
• User interfaces to be developed as per UX guidelines.
• Code files ensuring coding guidelines followed.
• Code review artefacts during peer code review.
• Test plan and test cases.
• Installation/deployment document.
• Release document & technical documentation.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagram, charts, and code. Comments and clear code; ensuring that project tasks are completed within defined effort and timelines.
• Testing:
  Writing of test cases, unit testing, system testing, negative testing.
• Troubleshooting: log analysis and database query optimisation.
• Improves operations by conducting system analysis.
• Develop and customise Loan Origination System.
• Develop custom BPM solution in banking related to banking industry.
• Have thorough knowledge of different ecosystem components in UAE (e.g., Emirates , UAEPass and etc.).

• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in a software development role.
• Experience architecting and developing workflow‑based solutions or functionality.
• Experience with web development technologies preferential.
• Willingness to learn BPM and other automation technologies.
• Knowledge of current technological trends in the software development industry, such as OOPs, multi‑tier software development, component architecture, web‑based software.
• Knowledge of system integration issues.
• Should have adequate programming skills and proficiency in JAVA, JSP, Servlets, EJB, SQL/Oracle, J2EE and other JAVA technologies.
• Must be able to multitask and willing to work on multiple projects at a given time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with business stakeholders and external clients.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage expectations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
