Chilled Water Pipe Fitter

Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and maintain chilled water piping systems, including cutting, threading, and welding pipes.
• Measure, mark, and prepare pipes for installation by cutting, threading, and bending pipes using hand and power tools.
• Install supports, brackets, and hangers to ensure proper alignment and stability of piping systems.
• Perform leak testing and ensure all chilled water pipes are securely fitted and meet safety and operational standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair piping systems, including replacing worn or damaged sections.
• Ensure proper insulation of chilled water pipes to maintain system efficiency.
• Coordinate with other trades to ensure seamless integration of piping systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and work within company and industry standards at all times.

• Chilled Water (CHW) piping installation
• HVAC & MEP piping systems
• Pipe cutting, threading, grooving, and jointing
• Installation of valves, strainers, BTU meters, fittings
• Pipe support fabrication and fixing
• Leak testing and rectification
• Basic use of power tools and hand tools
• Understanding of pipe sizes, levels, slopes, and alignment
