Crane operator

Overview

Crane Operator - Sharjah. We are looking for a Crane Operator to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining cranes in a safe and efficient manner.

• Operate cranes in compliance with safety regulations.
• Monitor crane operational performance and ensure it meets all requirements of the job.
• Inspect crane, hoists, rigging, and other lifting devices for safety defects.
• Make necessary adjustments or repairs to crane systems as required.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities performed.
• Follow established procedures when loading and unloading cargo from ships, barges, railroad cars, trucks, or other conveyances.
• Maintain good communication with the supervisor and other personnel on the dock or construction site.
• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies at all times.

• At least 3 years of experience operating cranes in a related field such as construction or shipyard operations.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of proper rigging techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills.

This is a full-time position offering an annual salary of 1000 AED. We are willing to consider foreign applicants for this position as well.
