Fish Monger | MAF Retail | Hypermarket UAE

The Fish Monger is responsible for preparing fish products in line with the section’s operating standards and hygiene control procedures. The role holder is also responsible for weighing fish, packaging it, and putting it out for display.

• Wrap, weigh, label, and price fish cuts accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare, cut, and portion fish according to company standards and customer requests.
• Arrange and maintain attractive fish displays following the defined presentation guidelines.
• Assist customers with product inquiries in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
• Promote additional products and stay informed about ongoing promotions and offers.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations throughout daily operations.
• Properly operate, clean, and sanitize fish preparation tools and equipment.
• Identify, segregate, and dispose of damaged, spoiled, or expired fish products daily.

• Basic English reading, writing, and interpretation skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.
• Ability to adapt and work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent listening skills with high attention to detail.
