Job Summary

As a Personal Shopper at Moonmains, you will serve as a trusted style advisor to our discerning clientele, curating personalized shopping experiences that align with their lifestyle, preferences, and occasions. This role involves building strong client relationships, providing expert fashion guidance, and driving sales through tailored recommendations. Based in one of our flagship stores (e.g., Dubai or international locations like Toronto), you will work in a dynamic, high-energy environment where creativity and customer service excellence are paramount.

This is a full-time position with opportunities for commission-based earnings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Consultation and Styling: Conduct in-depth consultations to understand clients' needs, body types, color preferences, and event requirements. Provide personalized styling advice, outfit recommendations, and wardrobe building strategies using Moonmains' exclusive collections.
  • Curated Shopping Experiences: Assist clients in selecting and trying on garments, accessories, and ensembles. Coordinate virtual or in-person shopping sessions, including private appointments and trunk shows.
  • Sales and Relationship Management: Drive revenue by upselling complementary items, achieving sales targets, and fostering long-term client loyalty through follow-up communications, personalized updates on new arrivals, and exclusive previews.
  • Inventory and Trend Knowledge: Stay abreast of Moonmains' latest collections, fashion trends, and industry developments. Manage client wish lists, track inventory availability, and collaborate with the merchandising team to source specific items.
  • Event Participation: Support in-store events, fashion shows, and pop-ups. Occasionally travel for client meetings or to attend industry events.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate client records in our CRM system, process transactions, handle returns/exchanges, and ensure seamless coordination with alterations and delivery teams.

    Work closely with sales associates, stylists, and management to enhance the overall store performance and client satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience: 2+ years in luxury retail, personal shopping, or fashion styling. Experience in high-end fashion brands preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Business, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; strong fashion sense with knowledge of current trends, fabrics, and fit; proficiency in digital tools for virtual styling (e.g., Zoom, styling apps); multilingual abilities (e.g., English and Arabic) are a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Charismatic, detail-oriented, and client-focused with a passion for luxury fashion. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Other Requirements: Valid work authorization in the UAE or relevant location; willingness to travel as needed.
