We’re looking for a Fragrance Compounding & Automation (Roxane K) Supervisor who will be part of our growing team at Seluz Fragrance & Flavor Company in Sharjah, UAE
.

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Chemistry or a related scientific/technical field.
• Strong organizational skills with a systematic and structured working approach.
• Demonstrates pragmatic thinking and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Able to make quick decisions, prioritize tasks effectively, and delegate when necessary.
• Shows strong interest and capability in hands-on technical maintenance of equipment.
• Understands the critical importance of maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Displays curiosity and attention to technical details.
• Able to work accurately, neatly, and efficiently under pressure.
• Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experienced in fragrance compounding; experience with automatic dosing systems (e.g., Roxane, Contexa) is strongly preferred.

• Ensure proper cleaning and routine maintenance of the Roxane K system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve errors related to the Roxane robot.
• Monitor spare parts and lab consumables and take timely action to replenish stock.
• Perform daily routine checks on Roxane scales.
• Monitor nitrogen and compressed air supplies.
• Ensure no raw materials remain in Roxane K or the Compounding Laboratory beyond their expiry date.
• Accurately fill fragrance raw materials into the Roxane K robot.
• Ensure sensitive fragrance materials are stored and handled correctly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-balanced daily work schedule.
• Monitor incoming fragrance requests and create an effective work plan.
• Oversee fragrance preparation via the Roxane robot as well as manual compounding.
• Process incoming requests sequentially while also considering urgency levels.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on incoming and completed work, including lead times from request to final fragrance oil delivery.

• Complete formulas coming from the Roxane robot by weighing raw materials not dosed automatically.
• Mix finalized fragrance formulations.
• Conduct trials/tests requested by perfumers.
• Keep raw material shelves clean, organized, and regularly monitor expiry dates.
• Maintain a tidy and well-organized workspace at all times.
• Collect laboratory waste in accordance with OHS regulations and dispose of it properly.
• Maintain full confidentiality regarding company information and formulations.
• Return finished fragrances to the requesting person in a timely manner.
• Provide recommendations to the manager for continuous improvement of processes and workflow.
• Perform all additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by the manager or management in line with the role.
