Quality Checker

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-line and final inspections of garments based on AQL standards.
• Check measurements, stitching, trims, labels, and overall finishing of garments.
• Identify and classify defects such as open seams, puckering, loose threads, stains, and size issues.
• Compare finished garments against buyer-approved samples and tech packs.
• Maintain detailed inspection reports and defect logs.
• Coordinate with the production and QA teams to address quality issues promptly.
• Assist in root cause analysis and follow up on rework and corrective actions.
• Ensure all quality checks are done as per company SOPs and SAIF Zone compliance standards.
• Ensure garments are properly ironed, folded, tagged, and packed as per buyer requirements.
• Report any non-compliance or unsafe practices to the QA Supervisor or Line Manager.

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to read and write.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Quality Checker in a garment manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of AQL levels, garment construction, and inspection processes.
• Ability to use measurement tools (measuring tape, GSM cutter, etc.).
• Knowledge of different types of garments (woven, knit, casual wear, uniforms, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and high visual accuracy.
• Basic reporting and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production setup.
