Store Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Goods Receipt (GRN Creation & Verification):
  • Receive incoming materials, inspect quality & quantity against PO/delivery note.
  • Coordinate with QC for inspection if required.
  • Create GRN accurately in ERP and ensure all documents are filed properly.
• Material Issuance:
  • Issue materials based on approved material request/issue slips.
  • Ensure accurate quantity issuance and update ERP entries without delay.
  • Return material handling and update in ERP.
• Inventory Management:
  • Perform binning, labelling, and proper stacking of materials.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and assist in monthly/quarterly stock counts.
  • Report stock discrepancies immediately.
• Storage &
  
  Housekeeping:
  • Maintain organized storage for raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
  • Ensure adherence to 5S and safety standards in warehouse areas.
• Documentation & ERP Transactions:
  • Update all inbound/outbound transactions in ERP in real-time.
  • Maintain filing of delivery notes, GRNs, MRNs, issue slips, and other records.
• Coordination & Support:
  • Coordinate with purchasing, production, and logistics for smooth material flow.
  • Inform store in-charge of urgent stock requirements or shortages.
• Safety & Compliance:
  • Follow PPE requirements and warehouse safety procedures.
  • Report unsafe conditions and support in implementing safety measures.

• Minimum Qualifications:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent (technical background preferred).
• Minimum Experience:
  
  Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the water treatment.

• Prior experience in store keeping, retail, or water treatment industry is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move stock safely.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.
