The Facilities Manager, designated as 23J25, is a crucial role within any organization aimed at ensuring all physical spaces are maintained and operated effectively. - Oversee day-to-day operations of all facilities, ensuring efficiency and safety consistently.
- Coordinate and supervise building maintenance and repair work by staff and vendors.
- Manage facility budget, track expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures to enhance operations.
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality service delivery.
- Ensure all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain a central database of space usage, maintenance schedules, and regulatory compliance.
- Plan and oversee renovations and refurbishments, including overseeing contractors and timelines.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively.
- Collaborate with other departments to align facilities management with organizational goals.
- Prepare reports on facility performance, improvements, and problem resolutions for management.
- Lead, train, and supervise facilities team members, fostering a cooperative work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar facilities role is essential.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and building safety requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and projects effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and implement cost-saving measures effectively.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and tools for efficient operations.
- Problem-solving skills with the capacity to handle emergencies and facility-related issues.
