Overview
Responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Siemens Energy
IP solutions in utility environments, with a focus on Meter Data Management (MDM), billing, and energy data processes.
- Gather and analyze business requirements and map them to Energy
IP functionalities - Configure Energy
IP modules (MDM, VEE, Event Management, Reporting) - Support integrations with CIS, OMS, SCADA, and AMI systems
- Execute functional testing (SIT/UAT) and support go-live activities
- Provide post-implementation support, issue resolution, and enhancements
- Prepare functional documentation and conduct end-user training
- 8–10 years in utility domain projects (Energy
IP or other MDMS preferred) - Strong knowledge of AMI, smart metering, and energy data management
- Experience with business process mapping and functional configuration
- Working knowledge of SQL, Oracle DB, and integrations (APIs/Web Services)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Siemens Energy
IP implementation/certification - Utility processes: meter-to-cash, outage management, demand response
- Agile or Waterfall project experience
