Principal Functional Consultant-D365 Retail and Supply chain; Contractual
We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Retail & Supply Chain Consultant with a strong background in implementing and customizing D365 solutions. Must possess in-depth knowledge of finance processes to effectively address client needs and optimize system functionalities. This will be a contractor role for a duration of 6 months with possibility of extending for an additional two months.
Responsibilities- Gather and document functional requirements from clients.
- Configure and implement Retail and Supply Chain in Dynamics 365 to align with business needs.
- Conduct Fit‑Gap analysis and recommend solutions.
- Lead end‑to‑end ERP implementations, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Perform quality assurance and testing to validate system functionality.
- Deliver post‑go‑live support and training to users.
- Provide project scoping, estimation, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Travel to client sites as needed for project delivery.
- Hands‑on experience in Dynamics 365 SCM modules.
- Ability to map and configure business requirements into D365.
- Minimum three full‑cycle ERP implementations.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Sure Step methodology.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are a plus.
- Education: ACCA, CA, MBA, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Dynamics 365 Retail & SCM implementation.
