Functional Tester; Finacle Digital Banking

About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Functional Tester with expertise in Digital Banking platforms
. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of digital banking applications through comprehensive functional testing, prepare test cases & execution plan, defect identification, and collaboration with development, QA, IT and business teams.

• Conduct end-to-end functional testing of Finacle Internet Banking and Mobile Banking modules.
• Review and analyze business requirements and technical specifications to develop test scenarios and cases. prepare comprehensive test cases that covers all aspects of the change and regression scope
• Execute test cases, report bugs, and validate fixes using appropriate testing tools.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and internal quality benchmarks.
• Experience in testing Retail and Corporate modules in-depth with functional flows and processes orchestration.
• Participate in UAT support, regression testing, and release validation cycles.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, defect logs, and QA reports.

• 8+ years of experience in functional testing of Finacle Digital Banking Suite (preferably Finacle 10.x or higher).
• Strong understanding of internet and mobile banking workflows and digital Retail & Corporate customer journeys.
• Experience with QA tools (e.g., JIRA, Test Rail, HP ALM, Selenium is a plus).
• Familiarity with APIs, web services, and database queries for test validation.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

ISTQB certification or equivalent is an advantage.
