Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, monitor transactions, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and UAE financial regulations.
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling invoicing and payments, preparing financial reports, and assisting management with budgeting and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices, payment receipts, and credit notes.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely collection of payments and settlement of supplier invoices.
- Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Maintain cash flow records and monitor company expenses.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit & loss statements and expense summaries.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with management regarding financial performance and budgeting.
- Assist in preparing documents required for audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
- Handle VAT-related documentation and filing as per UAE regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and clients regarding payment follow-ups and financial inquiries.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in trading or engineering companies.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with VAT regulations in the UAE.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (such as Tally, Quick Books, Zoho, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
