Senior Accountant Job Sharjah area,UAE/Dubai,Finance & Banking

Position Summary

Al Riyadah Facility Management is seeking a highly competent and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to lead financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounting operations. The role requires strong technical expertise in UAE financial regulations, the ability to meet strict reporting deadlines, and the capacity to provide management with accurate financial insights to support strategic decision‑making.

The ideal candidate must have proven UAE experience and strong knowledge of VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records in accordance with GAAP and UAE regulations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

Ensure month‑end closing within 7 working days.

Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis, and variance analysis.

Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, vendor payments, and bank reconciliations.

Process payroll accurately, including salary calculations and statutory deductions.

Manage VAT filing and ensure full compliance with UAE tax regulations.

Support Corporate Tax compliance and maintain proper documentation for FTA requirements.

Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules.

Handle intercompany transactions and reconciliations.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Liaise with banks regarding company accounts and financial facilities.

Ensure compliance with internal governance policies and regulatory standards.

Maintain proper financial documentation and record‑keeping.

Respond to management financial inquiries and support decision‑making processes.

Perform any additional duties assigned by management within the scope of the role.

Skills Requirements

Educational

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA) are an added advantage.

Professional Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of UAE accounting experience is mandatory.
Strong hands‑on experience in VAT filing and Corporate Tax compliance.
Experience in audit coordination and financial reporting.
Experience working in Facility Management or service‑based companies is preferred.

Immediate joiners are highly preferred.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of GAAP and UAE tax laws.

Experience with accounting software (ERP systems preferred).

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Behavioral Competencies

High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.
Professional communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
