Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in the financial health of our organization by managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

You will collaborate closely with other departments to support financial decisions and provide insights that drive the business forward. If you possess a high degree of integrity, proficiency in accounting software, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy, we would like to meet you.

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules as required.
• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes for financial accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and internal control procedures.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances in performance metrics.
• Collaborate with budget holders to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for operational needs.
• Assist in the preparation of tax audits and compliance reports for regulatory agencies.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts with precision.
• Provide financial analysis support for special projects as needed by management.
• Evaluate accounting policies and procedures for continuous improvement opportunities.
• Liaise with external auditors during audits to provide necessary financial information.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is mandatory.
• Proven work experience as an Accountant, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Quick Books or equivalent systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on financial accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with various internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines efficiently.
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is highly desirable.
