Job Overview:
The Finance Specialist – Tax & Reporting will be responsible for managing and strengthening the organization’s credit control, tax compliance, and financial reporting processesuspend. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate financial controls, timely tax compliance, effective receivables management, and alignment with statutory and internal governance requirements. The role will work closely with Finance leadership, commercial teams, auditors, and external authorities to support sound financial decision-making and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:Tax Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with all applicable tax regulations, including VAT and corporate tax requirements.
- Prepare and review tax filings, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Act as the key point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities.
- Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the business, advising management accordingly.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities in line with group timelines.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations related to receivables, taxes, and provisions.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within SAP and related reporting systems.
- Assist in internal and external audit processes by提前 providing required documentation and explanations.
- Utilize SAP effectively for credit management, tax reporting, and financial controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
- Support system enhancements and automation initiatives related to finance operations.
- Oversee and manage customer credit exposure, credit limits, and credit risk assessments in line with company policies.
- Monitor receivables ageing, follow up on overdue balances, and work closely with commercial teams to improve collections and cash flow.
- Review and strengthen credit control processes, ensuring consistency and compliance across business units.
- Prepare regular credit risk and receivables reports for Finance leadership.
- ACCA qualification or part-qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting, controlling, and taxation.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP (mandatory).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with internal stakeholders and external authorities.
